Overview

This role involves supervising and managing the transportation logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. The position requires planning, coordinating, and overseeing various logistical tasks within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and prioritize tasks to fulfill operational goals effectively.
Supervise and manage the organization’s operational logistics.
Plan and coordinate logistics activities across departments or work units.
Prepare and submit detailed operational reports.
Arrange timely maintenance and repairs.
Address operational issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
Train staff on their roles, responsibilities, and organizational policies.
Assign and review work tasks to ensure quality and efficiency.
Request or order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
Maintain organized inventory control and management.

Work Conditions and Requirements

Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Must meet language requirements in English or French.
Flexible working hours including morning, evening, day shifts, and on-call as required.
Work schedule covers 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

College, CEGEP, or equivalent diploma from a program lasting one to two years, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience ranging from one year to less than two years in a relevant role.
