Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position based in Mohali district involves managing daily transportation and delivery operations. The coordinator is responsible for route planning, allocating vehicles and drivers efficiently, and monitoring schedules to guarantee timely two-person deliveries. Collaboration with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customer service departments is essential to swiftly resolve operational challenges, manage delivery exceptions, and uphold a seamless customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee planning of delivery routes and assignment of vehicles and driver teams.
• Track daily delivery schedules to ensure prompt and efficient service.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer support to troubleshoot operational issues and exceptions.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records related to transport activities and performance metrics.
• Monitor key performance indicators to assess and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and transport regulations.
• Support initiatives for continuous improvement of processes within transport operations.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
• Contribute to a collaborative and results-oriented working environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in operations management and transportation coordination, including route planning and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities to liaise professionally with drivers, teams, and clients.
• Effective organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, schedules, and documentation with attention to detail.
• Experience in logistics, home delivery, or transportation coordination, with familiarity in safety and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with transport management software, spreadsheet applications, and basic reporting tools preferred.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Mohali district.
