Job description

Role Overview

As a Training Coordinator Associate specializing in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), you will manage the planning and coordination of EHS training initiatives throughout the EMEA region. This role involves working closely with Learning & Development partners and the global EHSS training teams to ensure timely delivery of required training programs. Collaboration with EMEA EHS Operations, Sales, Service, and Delivery Training & Talent Development teams is essential to foster a robust safety and compliance culture at the organization.

This position is available in Munich, Freiburg, or Berlin.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Independently plan and organize diverse training formats for the EHS department within the EMEA Sales, Service, and Delivery (SSD) sector.
  • Develop and produce learning materials including e-learning modules, work instructions, presentations, and reference guides.
  • Assist with Learning Management System (LMS) course administration ensuring that compliance training is completed and maintained up to date.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage training processes, projects, and implementation of new training rollouts.
  • Identify and suggest improvements related to the instructional design of current courses and training programs.
  • Act as the primary contact for inquiries related to the EHS training portfolio.
  • Provide Tier 1 LMS support, managing user roles, collaborating with administrators and content developers to refine training strategies, and preparing learning reports using Ziplabs.
  • Support communication and campaign efforts to boost awareness, engagement, and comprehension of EHS risks, programs, and systems.
  • Engage with operational EHS areas to expand understanding and skills related to EHS scope.

Candidate Profile

  • Academic background preferred in fields such as Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Human Factors, or Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Relevant internship or professional experience in similar roles.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with enthusiasm for delivering training programs.
  • Basic familiarity with instructional design principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience with LMS administration and e-learning content creation tools like Articulate 360 or Rise 360 is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English; knowledge of German is an added benefit.
  • Adept team player with effective collaboration skills.
