Role overview
Silah Tamkeen is hiring a Trade Marketing & Distribution Representative for the Riyadh Region. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on territory execution, trade marketing support, distribution growth, and in-store brand visibility.
Key responsibilities
- Keep a close watch on the assigned area to identify and fully capture available business opportunities.
- Carry out all cycle plan actions effectively and on schedule.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely trade marketing documentation and reporting, including Area Summary File, TMU, reconciliation records for rental/REP/BA activity, competitor updates, and ongoing qualitative and quantitative surveys.
- Record all trade marketing activity completed in the field, along with accurate outlet details.
- Build strong relationships with trade partners to secure their support in increasing volume and strengthening shelf or store presence within approved budgets.
- Execute and share feedback on trade incentive programmes described in the KSA operational plan.
- Use TM&D tools to improve visibility and consumer awareness of ALFAKHER brands in-store.
- Coordinate closely with the distributor sales team to expand distribution and reduce out-of-stock situations.
- Work toward the TM&D performance indicators assigned to the role.
- Protect product quality and freshness while ensuring availability of ALFAKHER products.
- Carry out merchandising work so store fixtures remain clean, functional, and aligned with the agreed planogram.
- Safeguard trade marketing materials and resources, ensuring they are used efficiently and securely.
- Maintain accurate control of TMR stock floats and complete reconciliations properly.
Requirements
- Strong command of English.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in merchandising or trade marketing representation within another FMCG company, preferably one with a trade marketing-driven approach.
- Solid interpersonal and relationship-building ability.
- Ability to influence others effectively.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-structured working style with good time management.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Must be able to drive and hold a valid driving licence.
Additional information
This role involves field-based trade execution and distribution support. The job requires active territory management, close coordination with distributor teams, and careful handling of reporting, stock reconciliation, and trade marketing materials.
