Track Maintenance Operator

Position Summary

The Maintenance Operative is responsible for performing various track maintenance tasks, working efficiently as part of a team to ensure safe and effective railway track operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities on railway tracks.
• Execute specific tasks including spot re-railing, spot re-sleepering, cutting rails, turnout replacement and repairs, removing sand, and other general maintenance duties related to the track.

Qualifications

• Must hold a school certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Possess recognized knowledge in track maintenance practices.
• Hold a valid full driving license.

Experience

• Prior experience in the relevant industry is required.

• Proficiency in English at an advanced written and verbal level or as a first language.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural team environment.
