TLM Production Planner

Overview

The TLM Production Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring that equipment is delivered punctually and meets operational requirements. This position focuses on enhancing the reliability and efficiency of Division equipment assets while optimizing asset utilization and minimizing the cost of service delivery (CoSD).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities at the assigned location.
• Collaborate with the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and Asset Coordinator to set and confirm work priorities.
• Oversee the equipment receiving process by identifying incoming equipment and evaluating it according to maintenance needs.
• Prepare Shop Failure or Deficiency Reports upon discovering equipment issues at arrival.
• Initiate repair work orders and document equipment scheduled for servicing.
• Allocate equipment into appropriate queues based on priority and operational requirements, such as washing, test pits, and bays.
• Coordinate with Stores to assign and deliver materials and supplies to various workstations, ensuring alignment with maintenance and repair priorities.
• Supervise Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) clerks where applicable.
• Manage the Yard Crew responsible for washing and driving tasks, if employed.
• Support the TLM Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor with asset inventory counting and equipment list management.
• Participate actively in Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives, as well as continuous improvement and LEAN programs.
