Key Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive tender documentation, detailing precise technical and administrative stipulations.
- Draft clear specifications for requested products or services to ensure accuracy.
- Manage tender schedules diligently, making sure all deadlines are met.
- Lead coordination meetings with relevant stakeholders to clarify tender necessities.
- Set transparent and equitable evaluation benchmarks encompassing quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Perform in-depth assessments of bids and report findings to senior management.
- Engage in supplier negotiations to attain favorable commercial and contractual agreements.
- Prepare conclusive contracts, guaranteeing inclusion of essential terms and conditions.
- Oversee contract implementation, monitoring supplier adherence to agreed terms.
- Regularly assess supplier performance through reviews and deliver constructive feedback.
- Address disputes or challenges during contract fulfillment, aiming for mutually agreeable solutions.
- Maintain thorough documentation of issues and suggest improvement measures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable local and international laws throughout processes.
- Revise tender and contract documents to reflect updates in legislation and regulations.
- Provide training and mentorship to newcomers regarding tender and contract procedures.
- Share expertise internally to uplift overall departmental capabilities.
- Identify and investigate prospective suppliers domestically and globally to satisfy tender requirements.
- Develop and sustain relationships with credible suppliers to facilitate procurement activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, contract management, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Hold between 1 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in tendering and contracts management.
