Role Summary
We are recruiting a Telecommunications Specialist to join on a contract basis, offering the flexibility to work remotely from any location. This position involves the creation, deployment, and upkeep of telecommunications networks and infrastructure to support enterprise-level communication services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement telecommunications systems, including VoIP, SIP, and PSTN networks.
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams to integrate telecom solutions into current IT frameworks.
- Conduct network monitoring and diagnostics to promptly identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and configure telecom equipment such as routers, switches, and gateways.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network setups, policies, and procedures for internal use and external parties.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related domain.
- Expertise with VoIP, SIP, and PSTN technologies and protocols.
- In-depth understanding of network architecture, including routing and switching principles.
- Hands-on experience with telecommunications hardware such as routers, switches, and gateways.
- Competency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix complex network problems.
- Effective communication abilities to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Compensation
