Job Overview

The Technical Superintendent position is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and operational effectiveness of assigned LNG/LPG vessels managed directly or through third parties.   • Minimize loss time accident incidence to targeted levels and maintain records of accidents and near misses to enhance safety.
  • Contribute to creating and refining ship management policies and procedures.
  • Assist with purchasing of spare parts and equipment in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and update dry docking specifications as required.
  • Support risk assessments, accident investigations, and detailed reporting.
  • Fulfill Emergency Response Plan responsibilities under the guidance of the Company Incident Commander.
  • Engage in technical studies to suggest enhancements to vessel quality standards.
  • Represent the company in industry forums when requested.
  • Maintain communication with customers regarding technical and operational vessel matters.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Between 4 and 8 years professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years onboard LNG/LPG vessels in relevant roles.
  • At least 2 years shore-based experience in repair and maintenance supervision of LNG/LPG vessels.

  • Strong expertise in technical operations of large gas carriers under ownership and management.
