About JetBrains and the Role
JetBrains has been dedicated to developing powerful developer tools since 2000, and is now advancing towards an integrated AI-native software development platform. AI is evolving beyond a mere coding assistant to an active collaborator in software planning, building, review, and operations across teams. The JetBrains Platform team is responsible for creating a foundational system that seamlessly integrates developer workflows, team collaboration, and organizational control. This platform is deeply embedded within JetBrains products and operates across teams and environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate major initiatives related to the JetBrains Platform, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Facilitate collaboration among multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve unified objectives and schedules.
- Guide teams throughout planning and execution phases, moving concepts through to delivery.
- Monitor progress, managing risks, dependencies, and removing bottlenecks.
- Promote improved delivery methods and foster effective collaboration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager within product or platform-focused environments.
- Capability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives within a dynamic setting, coordinating cross-functional teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills paired with ease in engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and outcome-oriented mindset with a "get it done" attitude.
- Comfortable navigating complex technical systems and thorough understanding of software development life cycles.
- Fluency in English is essential.
