Role Overview
The ideal candidate possesses an engineer’s precision for reviewing contracts—comprehensive, methodical, and alert to missing elements. This role requires combining rigorous legal attention to detail with determination to ensure contract obligations are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Manage contract lifecycle activities with an emphasis on outsourcing, BPO, and IT services agreements.
- Handle obligations management and implement change control processes effectively.
- Lead and supervise a contract management team, ensuring adherence to governance standards.
Experience and Qualifications
- 5-7 years’ experience in contract analysis, administration, and management within outsourcing, BPO, or IT service contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of contract structures such as MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, pricing, and governance schedules.
- Proven expertise in obligation tracking, compliance monitoring, and contract amendments.
- Team leadership experience; familiarity with Vendor Management Office (VMO) or third-party governance is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Commerce, or related disciplines; contract management certifications like WorldCC or IACCM are advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in contract lifecycle management (CLM) software and ensuring data accuracy within these tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks impacting outsourcing agreements.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and documentation abilities with high attention to detail.
- Excellent drafting skills and the ability to communicate clearly across legal, procurement, and business teams.
- Effective multitasking and ability to manage follow-ups within tight deadlines.
