Position Details

The tuition center is expanding and seeking full-time teachers passionate about educating students ranging from young children to young adults. Candidates will join a vibrant team aiming to bring out the best in every learner. Those without prior teaching experience will receive training. Vacancies and Subjects

• Math/English Teacher: teach both subjects to primary and secondary level students
• Science/English Teacher: teach English plus Science disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) to primary and/or secondary students
• English Teacher: focus on teaching English to primary and secondary students

Work Hours

• Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with lunch and dinner breaks
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, including lunch break
• Total weekly work: 44 hours
• Weekly off: 1.5 days for face-to-face discussions
• Public holidays are off

Courses Offered

Courses include Cambridge KET/PET English, AEIS, Singapore Government School Primary and Secondary courses, International School Admission Exam Preparations (WIDA, iTEP Slate Test, TrackTest, CAT4), and IGCSE courses. Teachers will be assigned based on their qualifications and competencies.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching sessions
• Plan and prepare course structure and materials, with basic templates provided

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification required
• Fluent communication skills in both Mandarin and English to engage effectively with clients and parents
• Basic IT proficiency preferred, as online lessons utilize platforms like Tencent
• Strong responsibility and reliability in job execution
• Patience and passion for working with students and parents
• Willingness to learn and earnest attitude
• Availability to work on weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification related to education
• Experience in Singapore’s primary and/or secondary education sector
• Diploma or degree from recognized local polytechnic or university
• Grade B or above in O Level English and grade A or above in O Level Math or Science
• IELTS score of 7.0 or higher
• Capability to teach subjects beyond English and Math
• Open to Singaporeans, Permanent Residents, and foreign applicants
