About the Employer

Our client is a construction firm located in County Kilkenny, Ireland, seeking to add a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist on a permanent basis. This role requires working fully onsite with occasional travel to regional offices across Ireland, necessitating a clean and valid driver's license.

Role Overview

  • Manage recruitment processes from start to finish across several roles and regions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and craft recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and administer competency assessment tests.
  • Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct search methods.
  • Screen and evaluate candidates in line with role and project criteria.
  • Organize and facilitate interview stages.
  • Handle offers, approvals, and ongoing communication with candidates.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment activities and pipeline status.
  • Ensure a professional and smooth experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support participation in career events, engage with graduates, and assist recruitment campaigns.
  • Build and sustain talent pools to support future hiring needs.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding procedures.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies.
  • Identify and implement improvements to recruitment processes and efficiencies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Three to five years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles.
  • A degree in Business, Human Resources, or related fields.
  • Possession of a CIPD qualification is preferable.
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong candidate sourcing skills, especially via LinkedIn and direct approaches.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Highly organized with the capacity to handle multiple roles concurrently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a professional and solutions-oriented mindset.
