Position Summary
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to lead comprehensive recruitment initiatives aligned with our mission. This role supports enterprise transformation by collaborating with business and HR leaders to fulfill workforce needs efficiently and with high quality. The role can be fully remote within the continental U.S. or hybrid at select California locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main recruiting liaison for hiring managers and HR business partners, conducting intake discussions to clarify job requirements and candidate profiles.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies utilizing data for both cleared and non-cleared technical and functional roles, ensuring alignment with workforce planning.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, candidate sourcing and screening, structured interviews, panel administration, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
- Provide insights on labor market trends, compensation, and competitor practices to guide staffing plans and requisition prioritization.
- Enhance candidate experience by maintaining communication with candidates and stakeholders, preparing interview teams, and facilitating inclusive hiring decisions within timely frameworks.
- Collaborate with Compensation, Legal, Security, and Talent Operations teams on offer packages, approvals, and compliance with equal opportunity requirements.
- Utilize and optimize various sourcing platforms and vendor partnerships, holding agencies accountable for outcomes.
- Promote Northrop Grumman's employer brand through social media, professional communities, and recruiting events.
- Build and maintain targeted talent communities to engage passive candidates and cultivate ongoing relationships.
- Coach hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques, minimizing bias and enhancing diversity and quality of hires.
- Maintain applicant tracking system data integrity, monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness, and continuously improve recruitment processes through agile methodologies.
Candidate Profile
- Strong planning and organizational capabilities to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with exceptional customer service orientation and focus on delivering results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of sourcing experience; or 6 years of sourcing experience without a degree for Level 2.
- For Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5 years sourcing experience, Master’s degree with 3 years, or 7 years without a degree.
- Proficient with full-cycle recruiting for diverse technical roles across engineering and manufacturing or similar disciplines.
- Experience leveraging social media and extensive professional networks for talent sourcing.
- Track record of building credible partnerships with HR and hiring managers and sound business acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agency recruiting.
- Familiarity with server-based applicant tracking systems such as Workday or Eightfold.
- Skill in developing competitive market intelligence related to talent acquisition.
- Knowledge of OFCCP compliance processes.
- Expertise in innovative sourcing techniques for engaging passive candidates and building talent pipelines.
Additional Information
- No relocation assistance is available.
- Security clearance is not required to start.
- Travel requirement is approximately 25% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits
Level 2 salary range: $69,000 to $113,800 annually. Level 3 salary range: $85,600 to $141,200 annually. These are guidelines; actual salary depends on factors such as experience, education, location, and market conditions. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives (for certain leadership roles), and a comprehensive benefits package featuring health insurance, paid time off, savings plans, education assistance, training, and flexible work arrangements like a 9/80 schedule where available.
