Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Associate to join our Human Resources department located in Kansas City, Missouri. This on-site position is critical for managing NorthPoint's recruitment processes by overseeing the entire hiring cycle, interacting with candidates, and working alongside hiring managers to address staffing needs. The role focuses on building a diverse talent pool, enhancing the recruitment experience, and ensuring a smooth hiring pipeline. Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to conduct end-to-end recruitment activities including candidate sourcing, resume evaluation, phone interviews, scheduling, and offer preparation.
- Maintain recruitment platforms, handle job ads, update candidate pipelines, and ensure accurate reporting to streamline staffing operations.
- Maintain clear, regular communication with candidates by providing updates, coordinating interviews, and delivering a positive recruitment experience.
- Participate in job fairs and recruiting events, aid in candidate outreach, and manage documentation for employee offers, promotions, and transfers.
- Develop and implement proactive sourcing techniques using platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and referral programs to establish robust talent pipelines.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to support wider people initiatives and contribute to a cooperative environment that serves candidates, employees, and hiring managers efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or employee engagement roles.
- Strong organizational abilities with precise attention to detail and effective task prioritization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to professionally interact with candidates and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite for data tracking and reporting.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintain professionalism.
- Willingness to travel for recruitment events is preferred.
