Talent Acquisition Assistant

Position Overview

This onsite role, located in Sacramento, CA, involves supporting Interlingva's efforts to recruit and schedule interpreters effectively. The position integrates candidate identification, administrative support, and communication to assist the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing, screening, and onboarding interpreters while ensuring smooth daily recruitment operations. Preference is given to candidates who are bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing candidates for interpreter roles through social media and community outreach.
• Handle a substantial volume of calls, emails, and recruitment documents with accuracy and professionalism.
• Maintain and update interpreter and candidate databases and records systematically.
• Collaborate with the scheduling and HR teams to coordinate recruitment tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or candidate sourcing utilizing various platforms and research methods.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage communications and documentation precisely.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with computerized scheduling or management systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with professional phone and email etiquette.
• Capacity to work independently relying on sound judgment, as well as function cooperatively within a team.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and flexible to shifting work priorities.
• Ability to occasionally lift items up to 25 pounds.
• Bilingual candidates (English plus another language) are preferred.
