About the Role
The TAFE Services Coordinator position at Albury is a permanent full-time job that offers a salary package between $131,911 and $142,056, which includes a base salary range of $116,219 to $125,157 plus employer superannuation contributions and annual leave loading. The role focuses on partnering with internal corporate teams to deliver services to staff and students within the campus community. Additionally, this position acts as a key liaison representing TAFE NSW to the wider community and collaborating with external organisations.
The Coordinator manages on-site operational activities to ensure the campus operates smoothly, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Their responsibilities include coordinating local service operations, supporting incident and issue management, and providing prompt assistance to staff, students, and visitors. This fosters a positive learning atmosphere and reinforces strong community ties. The role also extends support to the TAFE National Environment Centre when required.
Please note, the role is fully campus-based, requiring attendance on-site five days a week, with potential travel to other campuses as business needs dictate.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional customer service skills and a proactive, can-do approach to facilitating campus services that promote safety and engagement. They have experience cultivating productive relationships and networks with various stakeholders and excel in building positive rapport with staff and community partners. Strong negotiation and communication capabilities are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The candidate should be self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to independently manage multiple priorities and resolve problems effectively.
Essential Requirements
- Possession of a valid Working with Children Check prior to starting.
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Proven track record in delivering services that meet customer needs and fostering positive connections with diverse groups.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, to align with TAFE operation hours.
- Current driver’s licence is highly desirable.
