About the Role
Join Sunnyfield Disability Services as a Support Worker at their Short-Term Accommodation (STA) facility in Ashfield, New South Wales. The role requires availability for various shifts, including mornings, days, afternoons, and wake-over periods, with both regular and flexible roster options.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored support aimed at increasing client independence.
- Assist clients with their personal care needs.
- Encourage and participate in social activities and skill-building exercises.
- Foster positive relationships with participants and their families.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Candidate Profile
- A positive, proactive attitude is essential.
- At least two years of experience in disability support.
- Innovative problem-solving skills and ability to thrive within a collaborative team.
- Composure and confidence in managing complex behaviors.
- Flexibility to work all shifts throughout the day.
- Clearances including NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check (WWCC), and National Criminal History Record Check.
- Provision of two professional references.
- A current driver’s license.
