Role Overview
We are expanding our team of qualified care workers to support aged care clients and NDIS participants in and near Seaford. The role involves assisting individuals in maintaining independence and safety within their homes and communities, offering hands-on help following specific care plans with support from a dedicated office team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care services including assistance with showering and dressing, social support, and help with daily living activities.
- Perform light domestic tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and general household cleaning.
- Communicate any client changes or concerns promptly to care coordinators.
- Develop and maintain respectful, professional relationships with clients.
Work Locations and Contract Details
Work is based in Seaford and surrounding areas. The contract type is negotiable between permanent and casual.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates are compassionate community support workers with excellent communication skills and a commitment to treating clients professionally and respectfully.
Essential Qualifications and Certifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support or a comparable aged care or disability qualification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Completion of manual handling and infection control training.
- Possession of a driver's license and access to a registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
