Support Services - Utility Full-Time Position

About the Role

ESS Support Services Worldwide, operating in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico, is a premier provider of extensive support services including food and facility maintenance for offshore and remote land operations. Our team of culinary experts and hospitality staff deliver outstanding service around the clock, supporting client communities year-round. This role is based in Lafayette, LA at the Offshore and Land Operations site and follows a rotational schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, quality customer service with detailed one-on-one interactions.
• Maintain the highest sanitation standards in kitchens, galleys, and common areas complying with company, client, and governmental guidelines.
• Organize cleaning and work schedules efficiently.
• Communicate purchasing needs to management while minimizing waste and preventing shortages.
• Ensure all equipment remains in good condition and report any issues immediately.
• Handle linens by sorting, counting, folding, marking, carrying, and bed-making.
• Clean common areas, including lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Perform floor maintenance such as sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
• Manage waste disposal by transporting trash correctly.
• Replenish bathroom supplies proactively and inventory stock to maintain sufficient resources.
• Sanitize galley and dining spaces thoroughly, including breaking down and cleaning steam tables.
• Wash kitchenware including pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
• Restock condiments and supplies as needed, prepare food when required.
• Prepare and serve beverages like coffee, juice, and tea.
• Exemplify professionalism and contribute positively to team dynamics.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience working offshore or at remote job sites is mandatory.
