Overview
The Supply Chain Strategic Data Analyst role entails tackling complex data management issues by developing, maintaining, and implementing standardized solutions and documentation procedures. This position involves collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data integrity aligned with organizational objectives. It is classified as a career-level role.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, cleanse, align, and oversee data generated across multiple teams to enhance transparency and support effective business operations for leadership.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data by understanding its use by various stakeholders, establishing data standards, monitoring quality through manual and automated methods, and resolving discrepancies.
- Offer expertise and guidance on data management policies, standards, implementations, and support encompassing medium complexity data ecosystems.
- Conduct data management tasks, including data quality control, disaster recovery, availability solutions, and configuration of data systems, tailored to business goals and processes.
- Implement or develop data quality analysis processes with third-party tools or internal methods and recommend improvements based on best practices.
- Specialize in at least two areas of data management such as data collection, consistency, organization, control, and operational alignment, possessing relevant certifications.
- Prioritize and manage assignments effectively with minimal supervision, ensuring timely completion.
- Provide regular status updates on work progress, challenges, and project timelines to team leaders and managers, and record work hours promptly.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree ideally related to data management or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in data management, analysis, and operational roles, with healthcare industry exposure preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 5% annually among organizational facilities, including occasional overnight stays.
- Adeptness in a hybrid work environment mainly working remotely with two days onsite weekly, adjustable as per training or project needs.
Preferred Expertise
- Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Skillful in crafting complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data technologies, such as Snowflake.
- Experience in healthcare or supply chain analytics.
Work Environment
This position mainly operates remotely, requiring presence in the Dallas, Texas office approximately two days per week, with possible variability for training and projects.
