About the Role
Wudly Toys Pvt. Ltd., located in Ahmedabad, seeks a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the entire supply chain operations. Reporting to the Director/Operations Head, this role involves spearheading procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution to align operations with business growth and product demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies in line with company objectives and business expansion plans.
- Lead demand forecasting and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to synchronize procurement, production, and inventory levels.
- Establish scalable processes to support ongoing growth and launch of new products.
- Source and onboard dependable vendors, negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements while managing vendor performance to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability.
- Coordinate production scheduling with manufacturing teams, ensuring availability of raw materials and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Enhance warehouse operations for efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Oversee logistics including transportation, dispatch, and delivery to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries while optimizing costs.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, minimize waste, and enhance operational efficiency across the supply chain.
- Manage supply chain risks and prepare contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Leverage ERP and supply chain management tools to monitor performance metrics via dashboards and KPIs, and use data analytics for forecasting and informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, creative, sales, and finance to support business planning and product introductions.
- Lead and mentor supply chain teams, set performance standards, and maintain smooth operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, maintain proper documentation, and uphold quality management processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related discipline.
- 6 to 8 years of proven experience in supply chain management or logistics functions.
- Strong skills in analysis, negotiation, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Experience in the toys industry, FMCG, or consumer goods sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with sourcing, import/export operations, and scaling supply chain processes.
