An established operations and maintenance organisation within a major regional holding group is looking for a Supply Chain Director to take charge of the full supply chain function at head-office level. The role reports directly to the CEO and carries end-to-end responsibility across a multi-site project environment.

Key mandate

This is a senior strategic position focused on procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management. The selected leader will define the supply chain direction, improve cost efficiency, embed lean practices across multiple locations, and help modernise the function through technology such as ERP platforms, demand forecasting tools and supplier performance systems. The role also involves leading a complete team across category management, purchasing, warehousing and inventory control.

Primary responsibilities

• Shape and execute a supply chain strategy that supports business expansion and integrated facilities management service delivery.
• Direct procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, negotiation and contract administration with both local and global vendors.
• Improve inventory management and warehouse performance through lean storage methods and just-in-time practices.
• Plan and oversee logistics operations, ensuring reliable delivery performance across several project locations.
• Own the department budget and manage cost tracking, analysis and forecasting.
• Maintain strong governance standards, QHSE compliance and supplier risk controls.
• Lead, develop and coach a high-performing team operating across multiple locations.

Candidate profile

The employer is seeking a highly experienced supply chain leader with a strong background in multi-site operations. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, logistics or supply chain is required, while a master’s degree is preferred. Candidates must have at least 15 years of supply chain experience, including no less than 5 years in a leadership position. Exposure to IFM, O&M or a comparable multi-site services environment is strongly preferred. Practical experience with SCM technology implementation is essential, and Oracle Fusion knowledge would be an advantage. Strong negotiation ability, analytical thinking and people leadership are important. CSCP or a similar certification is considered a plus.
