Position Overview

As a Storesperson reporting to the Warehouse/Operations team, your primary responsibility is to manage stock by accurately receiving, logging, and storing parts and materials. You will handle order fulfillment by picking and preparing stock for dispatch, maintain precise inventory records, support smooth internal operations, and ensure the stores environment is safe and organized.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and log stock using the Warehouse Management System, then store it appropriately.
• Pick, pack, and ready parts and equipment securely for shipment.
• Safely operate forklift and other lifting machinery according to safety standards and instructions.
• Coordinate transport arrangements for goods collection and delivery.
• Keep comprehensive and accurate stock records, tracking all stock movements.
• Participate in annual stocktaking exercises.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized stores area with efficient space utilization.
• Assist internal teams by supplying parts and equipment, including support during machinery demonstrations or trials.
• Follow all health, safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a valid Forklift Licence (mandatory).
• At least two years' experience in warehouse or stores roles.
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly advantageous.
• Experience in packaging, freight, and shipping processes.
• Demonstrated capability to organize and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments, particularly in food and packaging sectors, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety relevant to warehouse operations.
• Ability to function independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
