Key Responsibilities

• Assess product quality by selecting fresh items and removing those that are damaged or unsuitable.
• Complete all related documentation and labeling accurately, including pick slips and shipping labels.
• Optimize packing of totes to maximize space efficiency without compromising product safety and quality.
• Balance order fulfillment duties with courteous customer interaction and problem resolution.
• Adhere to food hygiene, safety guidelines, and store quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and promptly addressing spills.
• Operate equipment safely and perform necessary safety inspections.
• Demonstrate flexibility by contributing ideas for improving processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Be available for various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support continuous store operations.

Challenges and Physical Requirements

• Efficiently handle high volume and fast-paced workload, especially overnight hours, by maintaining energy and focus.
• Engage in physical duties such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting loads up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive activities like stocking, zoning, and organizing with consistent attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $15.50 per hour.
