Position Overview
Join Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic retail setting. This role involves unloading shipment trailers, processing incoming merchandise, and transporting pallets onto the store floor while ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Contributing directly to smooth store operations and positive customer experiences, this position is ideal for individuals seeking an active and fulfilling role in retail or customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and assemble customer orders from various temperature-controlled zones with precision and care to ensure timely delivery.
- Verify product selection, quantities, and codes while packing orders securely.
- Assess product quality by selecting fresh items and removing those that are damaged or unsuitable.
- Complete all related documentation and labeling accurately, including pick slips and shipping labels.
- Optimize packing of totes to maximize space efficiency without compromising product safety and quality.
- Balance order fulfillment duties with courteous customer interaction and problem resolution.
- Adhere to food hygiene, safety guidelines, and store quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and promptly addressing spills.
- Operate equipment safely and perform necessary safety inspections.
- Demonstrate flexibility by contributing ideas for improving processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Be available for various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support continuous store operations.
Challenges and Physical Requirements
- Efficiently handle high volume and fast-paced workload, especially overnight hours, by maintaining energy and focus.
- Engage in physical duties such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting loads up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive activities like stocking, zoning, and organizing with consistent attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation
The starting wage for this role is $15.50 per hour.
