Role Overview

Birla Fertility & IVF, part of the CK Birla Group, offers an opportunity to join its pioneering team as a Staff Nurse specializing in gynecology and IVF procedures in Noida, India. This role involves comprehensive patient care throughout various fertility treatments and clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist medical consultants during gynecological exams, IVF procedures, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and minor operation theatre activities.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures, obtaining consent, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs before and after procedures, promptly reporting any irregularities or complications.
• Administer fertility-related medications and injections following clinical protocols and treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient records and treatment charts.
• Collaborate with embryologists, physicians, and administrative personnel to ensure smooth patient care delivery.
• Offer emotional support and counseling to patients undergoing fertility treatments.
• Uphold strict infection control, sterilization measures, and clinical hygiene standards within the workplace.
• Manage preparation of operation theatre, instruments, and inventory for IVF-related procedures.
• Instruct patients on post-procedure care, medication adherence, and scheduling of follow-up appointments.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc. in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid nursing registration certificate.
• Additional certification or training specific to IVF or gynecological nursing is advantageous.
