Role Overview

The Staff Frontend Engineer will collaborate extensively with backend and integration teams to build new features. This role demands ownership of code quality and close partnership with QA to thoroughly test edge cases. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular 2+, with a focus on creating reusable components and performance optimization in user-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features using Angular 2+ in close coordination with design, engineering, and product teams.
• Design efficient, reusable frontend code to enhance the user experience of ClickUp.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables independently.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain unit and integration test suites.
• Quickly address bugs and devise robust solutions for complex challenges.
• Adhere to best practices for state management within the ClickUp platform.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience working with JavaScript and modern frameworks, with mandatory experience in Angular 2+.
• Proficiency in Redux-style state management tools such as NgRx, as well as strong knowledge of Typescript and RxJs.
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS concepts, including layout techniques, specificity, compatibility across browsers, and accessibility standards.
• A proactive and operationally focused problem solver who can work independently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience mentoring peers to advance their technical skills.
