Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Qatar for a Specialist Doctor tasked with providing superior clinical care in alignment with established medical standards and the policies of the healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and perform comprehensive clinical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests to guide patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans supported by current evidence and best practices.
- Continuously monitor patient progress and maintain precise medical records.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and participate actively in case discussions.
- Support preventive healthcare measures and educate patients and their families.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and clinical governance efforts.
- Ensure compliance with local health regulations and pursue continual professional development.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of medical degree (MBBS or its equivalent) along with a recognized specialist qualification in a relevant field such as Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, or other specialties.
- Valid professional registration or licensure as required by local regulatory bodies.
- Proven clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing conditions within the chosen specialty, emphasizing patient safety and evidence-based methodologies.
- Experience in clinical or hospital settings, preferably with exposure to international or multicultural environments and familiarity with standard clinical protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to clearly convey medical information and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Capacity to work efficiently within multidisciplinary teams, manage caseloads, and adjust to evolving clinical demands.
- Willingness and readiness to relocate to Qatar and fulfill all local licensing and credentialing requirements.
