About the opportunity
PwC Acceleration Center India is hiring a Sourcer - Talent Acquisition Associate to help build strong talent pipelines for its Internal Firm Services teams. In this role, you will contribute to hiring efforts across a fast-moving environment, work with stakeholders from different functions, and support recruitment work that helps the business meet its staffing needs.
This position is designed for someone early in their career who wants to learn by doing. You will assist senior team members, take ownership of defined tasks, strengthen your technical knowledge of firm services and recruitment tools, and develop confidence in working with different perspectives in a global, collaborative setting.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and screen candidates to find suitable people for open roles.
- Use applicant tracking systems to monitor candidates through each stage of hiring.
- Carry out direct sourcing and maintain close coordination with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements.
- Help organize recruitment drives and job fairs to widen the candidate pool.
- Improve job postings and sourcing approaches so openings receive better visibility and stronger applicant interest.
- Support candidate assessment, including behavioral interviews and related selection activities.
- Work with internal stakeholders to keep hiring efforts aligned with business priorities.
- Review recruitment data and metrics to evaluate what is working and where sourcing methods can be improved.
- Conduct intake conversations and keep communication with candidates clear and timely to support a positive experience.
- Assist with recruitment operations such as requisition processing and vendor coordination.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of a high school diploma or an equivalent credential.
- At least 1 year of experience in human resources, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic setting, support senior colleagues, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Analytical thinking to interpret recruitment information and handle complex tasks.
Preferred qualifications
- Holding at least one HR certification such as SHRM or PHR.
- Prior strength in candidate sourcing and recruitment coordination.
- Hands-on experience using applicant tracking systems effectively.
- Familiarity with behavioral interview methods.
- Ability to work with recruitment metrics for decision-making.
- Experience supporting recruitment events and campus hiring.
- Comfort working with hiring managers to improve recruitment processes.
