Role Overview
The school is hiring a Social Studies faculty member to teach SST through subject-focused, competency-based methods aligned with CBSE and NEP expectations. The role involves using creative, inquiry-led classroom practices and technology-enabled teaching tools to make learning more effective and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
The selected teacher will design and deliver Social Studies lessons that match curriculum requirements and support skill development.
- Plan and conduct subject-specific lessons built around competency-based learning.
- Use innovative, inquiry-oriented teaching approaches in the classroom.
- Integrate ICT tools to improve lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Track student learning through assessments and classroom observations.
- Maintain academic records and support students who need additional remediation.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a relevant background in Social Studies-related subjects, along with B.Ed in Social Science.
- B.A. in Economics (Hons), Economics, Sociology, or Sociology (Hons).
- B.Ed in Social Science.
