Role Summary
This position is for a full-time Social Media Manager based in Kawempe with a hybrid working setup, meaning some work can be done from home. The role focuses on building Luba Properties’ online presence through engaging social content that showcases services and property listings.
Key Duties
- Plan, produce, and publish content across social platforms to support brand visibility.
- Maintain a consistent daily posting routine and keep channels active.
- Handle comments and direct messages while helping to foster positive community interaction.
- Track online discussions and brand mentions to protect and strengthen the company’s image.
- Review social media performance data and use findings to improve future campaigns.
- Work with internal teams to ensure social content supports marketing and sales goals.
- Assist with simple visual content and coordinate basic creative assets for digital promotions.
- Stay informed about social media trends and developments in the real estate sector.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage social media accounts, organize content, engage audiences, and optimize platform use.
- Strong writing skills for captions, posts, and other short marketing copy.
- Comfort using analytics tools and interpreting basic data to improve campaign results.
- Working knowledge of marketing principles, brand presentation, and promotional activity.
- Helpful familiarity with simple design tools such as Canva or similar applications.
- Good communication and people skills, with a team-oriented and customer-focused approach.
- Capability to work on your own, manage time well, and handle both office-based and remote tasks.
- Experience in real estate, property services, or a related area will be an added advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a similar field is preferred.
