Role Overview
This contract opportunity is suited to a highly creative, well-organized social media professional with a strong interest in the beauty space. The position focuses on strengthening a beauty brand’s digital footprint through thoughtful content planning and active community growth on Instagram and TikTok.
What You’ll Do
- Create and manage monthly content calendars designed for a beauty-oriented audience.
- Conceptualize, script, and help coordinate Reels and other short-form video content.
- Stay on top of beauty trends and weave relevant ideas into the content plan.
- Craft engaging captions and plan post timing to improve reach and interaction.
- Keep track of community activity, replying to comments and direct messages where needed.
- Review social performance data and prepare regular reports with key insights.
- Work with influencers and support influencer marketing campaigns.
What We’re Looking For
- Background in managing social channels for beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates content creation and growth outcomes in the beauty category.
- Comfort using video editing software and social media scheduling tools.
- Solid knowledge of how Instagram and TikTok algorithms work, along with platform best practices.
- Strong writing ability, especially for captions and brand copy.
- Good judgment for spotting and using emerging beauty trends.
- Experience in influencer outreach and running campaign activities.
- Well-structured, attentive to detail, and able to juggle several tasks at once.
- Open to part-time, contract work and remote collaboration.
