Role Summary
We are seeking a meticulous Social Media Coordinator to enhance and manage ZenaTech's digital footprint on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. This role involves scheduling and publishing content, tracking engagement, and collaborating with creative and marketing teams to maintain a unified brand narrative. Ideal candidates are organized, social media savvy communicators passionate about sharing the story of a fast-evolving AI and drone technology firm with an international audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a content calendar for multiple social media channels including emerging platforms.
- Publish scheduled content with precise captions, tags, and adapt formatting per platform standards.
- Partner with video production and creative departments to curate and adapt content for social networks.
- Engage with the community by monitoring feedback and responding to comments, escalating issues as required.
- Ensure all social media content aligns with company guidelines and communication policies.
- Analyze social media metrics to guide content strategies.
- Keep abreast of current trends and best practices in social media formats such as Reels and Shorts.
- Support event-related social media coverage including product releases and trade shows.
- Contribute to copywriting for captions, posts, and short content scripts.
- Manage a digital asset archive for easy access and organization of photos, videos, and other content.
- Work closely with internal teams to secure timely approvals for publishing.
Required Qualifications
- Between 1 and 3 years of social media management experience in agency, freelance, or corporate settings.
- Proficiency with social media scheduling and analytics tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or native platform insights.
- Excellent writing and editing capabilities with adaptability in tone across diverse platforms.
- Knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and the ability to apply best practices.
- Capability to understand and communicate technical topics related to drones, AI, and SaaS clearly.
- Strong organizational aptitude to handle multiple social channels and deadlines simultaneously.
- Preferred post-secondary education in marketing, communications, journalism, or related areas.
- Submission of a portfolio or examples demonstrating previous social media management is mandatory.
