Role Overview

We are currently seeking multiple qualified QBCC-licensed Site Supervisors for full-time on-site roles throughout Brisbane, Queensland. The Site Supervisor will lead daily site operations by coordinating trades and subcontractors, ensuring timely and quality completion of work, and upholding safety and compliance standards. Key duties include planning and organizing tasks, monitoring project progress, performing site inspections, managing resources and materials, handling site-related issues, reporting, and maintaining communication with project managers and clients. The supervisor will foster a constructive work culture while ensuring adherence to Hirecon's client policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily construction site activities to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with schedules.
• Coordinate various trades and subcontractors to optimize project delivery.
• Conduct thorough site inspections to monitor safety practices and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reports.
• Engage effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site issues.
• Lead on-site teams, promoting a positive and professional work environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety regulations and building codes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience in site supervision and construction management involving trade coordination.
• Comprehensive understanding of workplace safety regulations, site compliance, and relevant construction codes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams, handle conflicts, and liaise with clients and partners.
• Proven organizational and time management skills, including planning, scheduling, and record-keeping.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions to manage site challenges and changing circumstances effectively.
• Previous supervisory experience in construction or related trades; familiarity with Brisbane or Queensland projects is a plus.
• Basic proficiency with digital tools for project management, reporting, and communication.
• Relevant trade qualification, certificate, or diploma in construction management or related fields preferred.
