Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH, established in 2018 and a wholly owned subsidiary of Ryanair, operates maintenance services at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and other stations across Germany. The Irish airline group runs a modern fleet comprising Boeing 737NG, MAX 10, 737-8200 Game Changer, and Airbus A320 aircraft, with plans to expand by over 300 aircraft by 2030.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to perform aircraft body structure and part repairs on the Ryanair fleet at Berlin Brandenburg or Nürnberg airports. The position involves following approved maintenance data and procedures to ensure the safety and functionality of aircraft components.
Key Responsibilities
- Repairing aircraft body structures and components according to approved maintenance documentation.
- Executing metal assembly tasks including cutting, filling, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting, and bucking.
- Operating specialized equipment such as bending machines, English wheels, flap peening tools, drills, and grinders to accomplish maintenance work.
- Identifying optimal repair solutions in line with Maintenance Repair Manuals.
- Performing additional duties assigned by Shift Leaders or Hangar Managers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in sheet metal work and structural repair.
- Maintenance experience on Boeing 737 aircraft is highly favorable.
- Understanding of technical drawings.
- Adaptability to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
- Ability and enthusiasm to train personnel without prior skills.
- Proficient communication skills with fluent English.
- Competence in computer use.
- Willingness to work shift schedules.
- Possession of a valid EU/EEA passport granting unrestricted residence and work rights within the European Union (no visa support available).
- Ownership of a valid EU driver's license.
- Preferably holding valid German security clearance in accordance with Section 7 of the German Aviation Security Act.
