About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) invites skilled professionals to a walk-in recruitment drive on 8th August 2026 at its Trivandrum office. The company is a globally recognized technology leader keen to welcome motivated tech experts. This position focuses on ServiceNow ITOM, crucial for laying the groundwork for project success. Candidates must have a valid EP number prior to the interview.

Technical Responsibilities

• Work extensively with the ServiceNow ITOM suite including CSDM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
• Apply foundational knowledge in cloud computing, and administer Windows and Unix systems.
• Understand infrastructure setups involving servers, networks, and storage.
• Operate and comprehend monitoring tools effectively.
• Develop and maintain reports and base platform features on ServiceNow.
• Write scripts using JavaScript, Unix Shell, Windows scripting, and PowerShell; utilize regular expressions.
• Integrate systems via REST API, SOAP, or other technologies.
• Engage in various testing stages including unit, system integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Craft and uphold repeatable, high-availability development, testing, staging, and production processes.
• Maintain ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator credentials.
• Employ Agile/Scrum methodologies and understand ITIL and software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in ITIL V3/V4 Foundation.

Role Expectations

• Interpret application requirements and user stories while adhering to best development practices and standards.
• Engage actively in daily standups and adapt to updated requirements.
• Work autonomously with focus on detail and task completion standards.
• Ensure code quality and perform comprehensive unit testing and documentation.
• Support user acceptance testing and provide end-user training on new features.
• Configure and manage MID servers, credentials, and command line tools.
• Handle Discovery Schedules and troubleshoot issues with device owners.
• Implement cloud and tag-based discovery mechanisms.
• Gather requirements from application teams to design Service Maps.
• Customize scripts and rules including IRE rules, Script Includes, Business Rules, Scheduled Jobs, Patterns, Probes, and Sensors.
• Maintain integrations and manage event management applications.
• Configure and update event rules, field mappings, alert management workflows using Flow Designer.
• Set up de-duplication and correlation rules.
• Create and customize reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams for requirements gathering and troubleshooting.

Additional Information

Candidates should bring the following documents in hard copy to the interview: updated resume, TCS application form, original and photocopy of government ID (PAN or Aadhaar), and two passport-sized photos. For registration prior to the interview, an EP number must be generated through TCS’s designated portal if not already obtained.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a BE, B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc., or MS degree from a full-time course and possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience after qualification. Candidates who have taken a TCS interview within the past month are discouraged from applying. Referrals are encouraged.
