About the Role

We seek a highly analytical and execution-driven Senior Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire supply chain, warehouse, and fulfilment operations for a rapidly expanding D2C consumer brand. This position ensures superior performance in procurement planning, warehousing, inventory management, logistics, and fulfilment to support efficient growth across owned D2C channels, marketplaces, and quick-commerce platforms.

The perfect candidate will have experience managing supply chain operations for a business generating ₹200–250 crore annually and a background in FMCG, personal care, or skincare sectors. They will have played a critical role in scaling operations in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance end-to-end supply chain processes across D2C, marketplaces, and quick-commerce segments.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, order fulfilment, and logistics to maintain high service standards and operational productivity.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies across warehousing, transportation, last-mile delivery, and packaging without sacrificing customer satisfaction.
  • Lead warehouse expansion initiatives including site setup, capacity planning, and operational launch.
  • Create resilient supply chain frameworks capable of handling demand spikes, promotions, and seasonal surges.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Finance, and Business teams to optimize inventory health, warehouse usage, and working capital.
  • Drive demand forecasting and inventory management aimed at reducing stockouts and deadstock while enhancing turnover rates.
  • Design and track operational KPIs and dashboards to facilitate data-backed decisions.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other supply chain tech to increase process automation and transparency.
  • Enhance vendor relations through negotiations, improving SLAs, and establishing strategic partnerships.
  • Seek and implement continuous improvements throughout the supply chain operations.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering accountability and efficient execution.

Required Experience

  • 6 to 8 years in Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, or Logistics roles.
  • Track record of managing supply chains for businesses with ₹200–250 crore annual turnover.
  • Experience in FMCG, personal care, skincare, or similar consumer product industries.
  • Demonstrated capability in handling fulfilment for owned D2C websites, e-commerce marketplaces, and quick-commerce platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and fulfilment workflows.
  • Proven success in expanding supply chain operations during rapid growth phases.
  • Experience leading new warehouse setups and scale-up projects.
  • Strong commercial skills including vendor management, pricing negotiations, and service level optimization.
  • Expertise in forecasting, inventory planning, and warehouse capacity management.

Team Leadership

  • Managed 4 to 5 direct reports at Assistant Manager level or above.
  • Led cross-functional teams ranging between 15 and 20 individuals encompassing warehouse and supply chain operations.

Educational Background

  • B.Tech degree from a top engineering institute such as NIT or equivalent.
