Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst for our Bellevue, WA office. This role involves managing KPI tracking and performance analysis across the entire supply chain – from first mile to last mile operations. You will build analytical models, interpret complex data, and provide actionable insights to support cost-saving and process improvement initiatives. Leading projects from conception through implementation, you will partner with stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform business requirements into insightful data analyses supporting strategic logistics decisions through detailed reporting, modeling, and performance tracking.
- Evaluate supply chain and logistics operations including transportation costs, delivery effectiveness, sortation, returns, and marketplace performance.
- Partner closely with internal departments, leadership, and third-party logistics providers to design data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service quality.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor logistics, returns, transportation, and third-party performance metrics for various stakeholders.
- Ensure high standards of data quality and consistency by implementing best practices in data collection, validation, and analysis.
- Monitor supply chain trends to proactively identify risks, uncover opportunities, and close performance gaps with timely management recommendations.
- Assist in developing forecasting models to predict logistics demand, transportation needs, returns volume, and overall supply chain metrics.
- Support the launch of new channels by analyzing and coordinating supply chain aspects across all stages including first mile, transportation, fulfillment, returns, and delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analysis with an emphasis on logistics or supply chain metrics.
- Strong proficiency in SQL is mandatory; skills in Python or R are advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools is beneficial.
- Comprehensive understanding of supply chain and logistics methodologies and key performance indicators.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting data-driven insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
