Job Summary
We are looking for a full-time Senior Software Engineer to be based in our Navi Mumbai office. The position focuses on modernizing administrative systems and updating legacy applications. This role demands keen attention to detail, ownership of processes, and a proactive approach to adopting new technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Gather, assess, and document the requirements from end-users effectively.
- Design, develop, modify, and maintain software applications ensuring quality and performance.
- Engage actively in the software validation lifecycle by preparing and executing test plans and cases.
- Lead and manage software projects, possibly handling multiple applications simultaneously.
- Follow the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirement collection through design, development, testing, deployment, to maintenance.
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with team members about project progress, tools, and procedures.
- Utilize expertise in object-oriented programming with C#, databases using SQL, MVC architecture, Entity Framework, and web application development with ASP.NET.
- Provide support to end-users including application setup, installation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Take up opportunities to lead distinct software development initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience developing software using MVC frameworks, Angular, Bootstrap, Web APIs, Single Page Applications (SPAs), Web Services, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Entity Framework, TFS, GIT, and relational databases.
- Experience in system modernization is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
