Role Overview
We seek a highly experienced Senior System-on-Chip (SoC) Architect to lead the architecture and development of sophisticated SoC platforms. This senior leadership role entails formulating system architecture strategies, guiding cross-functional engineering groups, and optimizing trade-offs involving performance, power efficiency, manufacturability, and product requirements throughout the product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and steer the comprehensive SoC design for intricate embedded systems.
- Convert product specifications into scalable and efficient technical architectures.
- Conduct architectural trade-off assessments balancing performance, power consumption, cost, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate closely with diverse engineering disciplines during product development phases.
- Facilitate system integration, verification, and product validation processes.
- Offer technical leadership and architectural oversight across engineering teams.
- Participate in defining technology roadmaps and long-range product strategies.
- Communicate technical insights and architectural decisions to key stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- Over 15 years of expertise in SoC architecture or advanced semiconductor design.
- Robust experience in embedded systems and integrated circuit development.
- Proven skills in low-power systems design.
- Successful track record leading complex hardware architecture projects from ideation through production.
- In-depth knowledge of digital system architecture and hardware/software partitioning principles.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Master's or doctorate degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
