Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager with expertise in Computer and IT sales, especially through direct sales, system integrators, and channel partner sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Government Departments within the state and key familiarity with government procurement portals and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales initiatives targeting computer and IT products via direct engagement and channel partnerships.
- Maintain awareness and leverage opportunities related to Government Departments in the region.
- Understand and utilize GEM portal procedures and purchases, including the L1 purchase process.
- Engage with GEM and government partners actively involved in the procurement process.
- Stay updated on the Computer and IT market trends relevant to the targeted regions.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and a proven record of successful government sales.
- Preference will be given to candidates experienced in East Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Goa markets.
Additional Information
This role demands familiarity with government sales channels and the ability to navigate complex procurement platforms like GEM. The candidate should be proactive and results-driven, capable of managing relationships within government sectors and IT markets effectively.
