This opening is for a Senior Product Manager to join the Platform team, which owns the infrastructure, security, and internal systems that help every other team move fast. The product management group currently has six PMs and is led by a co-founder who is also the Head of Product.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Platform team’s product work end-to-end and report directly to the co-founder and Head of Product, Kapil Kale.
- Lead product direction for areas such as security incidents, AI infrastructure, security enhancements, data and compliance work, and technical platform upgrades.
- Partner closely with engineering on highly technical systems, including architecture, implementation choices, and difficult technical tradeoffs.
- Build and maintain the roadmap by working with stakeholders to decide priorities and sequencing.
- Clarify ambiguous situations by defining the problem to be solved and the reason it matters.
- Support product discovery through user interviews, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Work with design and engineering teams to shape requirements and choose practical solutions.
- Operate effectively in an async, low-meeting environment and collaborate primarily through documentation and written communication.
- Influence priorities and decisions with a collaborative, low-friction approach.
- Measure and communicate post-launch impact so the team understands what is working.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of product management experience on a platform-oriented team such as infrastructure, platform, security, search, or data.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or engineering management.
- Strong technical depth and the ability to solve complex problems alongside engineers.
- Solid product judgment and the ability to identify the right solution for a given problem.
- Experience turning long-term strategy and a large backlog into clear roadmaps.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with comfort working in a documentation-first environment and with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to make progress with incomplete information and drive work independently.
- Strong empathy for users and coworkers.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $250,000 to $325,000 per year, along with equity.
Benefits include fully covered health coverage in the US, unlimited paid time off, and 12 to 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates working from anywhere in the Americas.
