Role overview

This position sits within the Device and Product Group and supports New Product Introduction (NPI) for advanced GaN semiconductor devices and related engineering work. The role owns new products end-to-end, from concept through qualification, and requires coordination across R&D, Design, Epitaxial, Fabrication, Package Assembly, Test, Reliability, and other teams.

What you will do

• Drive the NPI workflow and coordinate product definition, design, fabrication, testing, and qualification through to tape-out and production release.
• Partner with marketing, sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to build practical NPI plans.
• Align timelines and resources while balancing customer expectations and project constraints.
• Share progress, risks, key outcomes, and issue updates with stakeholders and lead design review meetings.
• Evaluate test and qualification data and prepare engineering reports based on the findings.
• Create screening approaches during the NPI stage to support qualification efforts.
• Lead root-cause analysis for product performance and qualification concerns.
• Contribute to and support additional engineering assignments as needed.

What the company is looking for

The ideal candidate has strong semiconductor product engineering experience, with exposure to manufacturing, yield engineering, and power electronics being an advantage. You should understand process and product development, wafer-level processing, assembly, and test methods. Familiarity with APQP design reviews, FMEA, NPI, and SPC is important, along with strong planning, ownership, teamwork, and communication skills. Experience with engineering databases, automation, and statistical analysis tools such as JMP will be beneficial.
