About the Role
PATH MEDICAL Audiology Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a seasoned Senior Procurement Director to own procurement strategy and sourcing execution. This is a senior leadership position focused on improving procurement outcomes, deepening supplier relationships, increasing operational effectiveness, and building processes that can scale with the business.
The right candidate will bring strong experience in leading procurement organizations, steering enterprise sourcing programs, and continuously improving complex procurement environments. The role works closely with executive leaders and cross-functional partners to deliver measurable value across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement enterprise-wide procurement plans that support corporate goals and longer-term business priorities.
- Guide the full procurement function, including strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management, purchasing operations, contract administration, and governance.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a strong procurement leadership team while encouraging collaboration, ownership, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
- Strengthen long-term supplier partnerships to improve service levels, operational performance, reliability, and overall value.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and Executive Leadership to keep procurement aligned with organizational needs.
- Design sourcing approaches that enhance supplier performance, improve efficiency, and support growth at scale.
- Assess supplier strengths, market dynamics, and industry movements to identify optimization opportunities and create strategic value.
- Set procurement policies, governance frameworks, and best practices that ensure consistency, compliance, and strong operational discipline.
- Track performance using KPIs, supplier scorecards, spend analysis, and executive reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Drive procurement transformation through process redesign, digital tools, automation, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Share procurement plans, operational results, supplier findings, and recommendations with executive leadership and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or purchasing, including ownership of enterprise procurement operations.
- Demonstrated success in building procurement strategies that raise supplier performance, improve efficiency, and support organizational growth.
- Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, category management, contract management, procurement operations, and commercial negotiations.
- Experience managing distributed and cross-functional procurement teams in complex business settings.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, supported by a data-driven decision-making style.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, procurement platforms, supplier management tools, spend analytics solutions, and business intelligence tools.
- Ability to balance multiple strategic priorities while delivering procurement excellence in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior senior procurement leadership experience in manufacturing, technology, healthcare, consumer products, retail, industrial, logistics, professional services, or similar procurement-heavy industries.
- Background in procurement transformation, supplier performance improvement, strategic sourcing optimization, or operational excellence programs.
- Familiarity with global sourcing models and multi-region supplier networks.
- Professional certifications in procurement, supply chain management, sourcing, or operations are a plus.
