Senior Network Engineer - WAN

Overview

This role is for an experienced Senior Network Engineer specializing in Wide Area Networks (WAN) based in Pune, India. The position requires a minimum of six years of experience and involves working with advanced network technologies and cloud integration. Core Responsibilities

• Manage and design SD-WAN solutions using Cisco Viptela, Meraki, and Fortinet technologies.
• Implement WAN routing protocols such as BGP and IPsec, including MPLS underlay configurations.
• Develop overlay networks, controlling traffic flow, and applying application-aware routing strategies.
• Handle multi-cloud networking environments including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Design and deploy Aviatrix transit architecture and gateways to enable cloud networking automation.
• Leverage Akamai security services such as CDN, edge connectivity, and enforce zero-trust security models.
• Provide cloud connectivity solutions including site-to-cloud, inter-region, and hybrid configurations.
• Implement VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL) with appropriate segmentation and security policies.
• Apply security concepts like Zscaler and SSE/SASE for enhanced protection and network integrity.
• Optimize network performance and resolve both overlay and underlay network issues.
• Utilize monitoring and analytics tools for proactive network management.
• Develop basic automation using APIs, Terraform, and Ansible for network operations.
• Plan and configure high availability and failover mechanisms to ensure network resilience.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• Graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply.
• Minimum experience of six years in relevant network engineering fields is required.
