Senior Manager - Commercial for Transport Infrastructure Projects

Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Commercial will lead budget oversight, cost management, and detailed reporting for significant transport infrastructure initiatives. This position demands in-depth knowledge of reporting and forecasting platforms such as Power BI and PRISM or their equivalents.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure financial governance, precise forecasting, and thorough reporting supporting strategic project decisions.
• Lead and manage commercial teams and contract administration effectively across multiple complex projects within major programs.
• Provide strategic guidance to prioritize team workload under shifting business needs.
• Drive the commercial function's direction, endorsing practices as required and influencing senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Cost Engineering, Legal studies, or related disciplines.
• Affiliation with Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors is preferred.
• Between 10 to 15 years of commercial experience in construction delivery including both contractor and consultancy roles.
• Proven track record managing multiple projects with competing priorities within large commercial teams, ideally in program-wide roles.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East preferred.
• Expertise in managing all phases of major projects, from bidding through final account settlements, within regulated and matrix environments.
• Subject matter expertise in contracts, claims, and arbitration processes.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise management software such as PRISM, SAP, or similar systems.
• Exceptional English communication skills for articulating strategies and project status to diverse and senior audiences.
• Strong leadership capabilities to inspire diverse teams and achieve impactful commercial results.
