About the Role
A well-established and expanding organisation seeks an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to contribute to a cooperative team providing enterprise IT support and managing infrastructure projects across offices in Christchurch and Australia.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Deliver advanced IT support focusing on Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 environments, and peripheral devices including laptops, desktops, and printers.
- Provide expertise in supporting audio-visual conferencing systems and meeting room technologies.
- Manage and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and complex end-user challenges.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and oversee regional IT projects to enhance end-user experiences and operational efficiency.
- Utilize ITSM platforms like ServiceNow for ticket management and adhere to ITIL best practices and support methodologies.
- Drive workflow or process automation initiatives and integrate modern AI tools to boost productivity and service quality.
- Experience with device management systems such as Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, JAMF, or related MDM tools is advantageous.
- Communication skills are vital for leadership and customer-centric support delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or tertiary qualification in IT, relevant certification such as Microsoft certification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum six years of commercial experience in IT support, desktop engineering, and end-user computing.
- Knowledge or experience with Crestron, Qsc, or Biamp technologies is a plus or willingness to learn.
