Senior Executive Director, Strategy

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Senior Executive Director, Strategy, a position reserved for Qatari nationals. Reporting directly to the organization's top leadership, this role involves spearheading the creation and execution of the corporate strategic plan, aligning objectives with the company’s long-term growth goals. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in corporate strategy, transformational initiatives, and performance oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer the creation, rollout, and ongoing assessment of corporate strategy and strategic priorities.
• Lead cross-organizational strategic planning efforts ensuring coherence across departments.
• Offer strategic counsel to executive leaders on growth, operational excellence, and change management prospects.
• Manage frameworks for strategic performance measurement including KPI development and tracking.
• Conduct in-depth market research, economic evaluations, and competitive analysis to inform strategic choices.
• Oversee strategic and transformational projects along with multi-disciplinary initiatives.
• Evaluate and pursue potential strategic alliances, investments, and business expansion avenues.
• Develop and present reports and strategic recommendations at the executive level.
• Encourage a mindset of innovation, ongoing enhancement, and strategic foresight throughout the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Strategic Management, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Preferably a Master’s degree such as an MBA from a reputable institution.
• A minimum of 15 years in roles focused on corporate strategy, business planning, consulting, transformation initiatives, or related areas.
• At least 8 to 10 years in senior leadership positions managing enterprise-wide strategic programs.
• Proven track record in leading strategic planning and organizational transformation efforts.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, business performance assessment, and strategic risk management.
• Exceptional analytical skills along with the capability to engage stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Fluent in English, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
