Overview
Join Mammoet in Dubai as a Senior Engineer where you will tackle complex problems by delivering safe and effective engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation. This role offers the chance to apply your skills across diverse industries and projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced engineering solutions tailored for heavy lifting and transport projects.
- Create and deliver detailed method statements, engineering drawings, calculations, and risk assessments.
- Make independent decisions on engineering methods and equipment selection to guarantee project safety and efficiency.
- Oversee and adapt engineering plans during project execution to accommodate evolving conditions or requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship for engineering staff while ensuring comprehensive management of engineering scope.
- Consult with Operations, Sales, and Project Management teams on technical feasibility, risks, and trade-offs.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and reviewed engineering documentation following international standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of relevant engineering experience involving advanced and complex solutions.
- Professional expertise in engineering operational practices, heavy lifting and transport (HLT) equipment, internal codes, and standards.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven background in sectors such as civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, or mining is advantageous.
