Position Overview

As the Senior Director, Digital Care Transformation, you will lead Carrum’s enterprise-wide AI-powered transformation initiatives, reporting to the Vice President of Patient Care. You will own and direct a multi-year digital transformation roadmap, spearheading complex, cross-functional projects that reshape service delivery and foster scalability through technology rather than workforce expansion. This key leadership role involves setting the vision for digital innovation, managing senior project leaders, and overseeing successful AI adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the AI and automation roadmap focused on operations, emphasizing Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and automation to enhance member and provider experience.
• Lead cross-functional transformation projects that significantly change care delivery models.
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
• Implement "human-in-the-loop" AI systems that empower clinical staff and accelerate decision-making.
• Formulate strategies to shift from manual processes to AI-native services ensuring scalability.
• Improve operational unit economics by deploying digital self-service solutions and automation to decrease cost per case.
• Mentor and develop senior project managers, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with company values.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (12+ years) in strategic operations, management consulting, or product operations, including 5-8 years in leadership roles.
• Advanced project management expertise, preferably PMP certified, with a track record of managing large-scale digital initiatives and complex technical dependencies.
• Deep proficiency in AI strategy, implementation, and healthcare automation.
• Proven senior leadership experience with comprehensive business unit strategy development.
• Strong technical fluency enabling effective collaboration with engineering and data science teams.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable ROI and operational scalability through technological advancements.
• Exceptional executive influence capabilities for driving alignment and buy-in on transformational initiatives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with resourcefulness to navigate fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Collaborative spirit with experience working across sales, operations, client success, data, and product teams to achieve meaningful outcomes.
